This spacious 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom residence accommodates up to 10 guests, with approximately 2,250 square feet of space to spread out, relax, and actually enjoy being together. Located at Mareazul, the residence is surrounded by lush paths leading toward the beach, while the ocean views make the Caribbean hard to forget.

The sleeping arrangement works beautifully for families or groups of friends, with 2 King beds, 2 Twin beds, and 2 Full beds. Each bedroom offers its own comfortable space, while the 4.5 bathrooms make busy mornings much easier when everyone is getting ready for another day in paradise.

The open living and dining area is made for spending time together. Gather around the table for a meal, relax after a day at the beach, play a few rounds of cards, or simply sit around talking about what everyone wants to do next. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and keep that beautiful Caribbean setting right where it belongs—in view.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make breakfast, prepare snacks for the beach, or put together dinner when staying in sounds better than going out. You’ll also have a washer and dryer, air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, and Smart TVs for those quieter moments when everyone needs a little downtime.

Then there’s the terrace—a spacious outdoor spot made for enjoying Playa del Carmen’s warm weather. Start the morning with coffee, grab a drink in the afternoon, or settle in for sunset while the ocean provides the soundtrack. Sometimes the best vacation plans are the ones that involve absolutely nothing.

Outside the residence, Mareazul gives everyone plenty of options. Take the green paths down to the beach, cool off in the resort’s huge pool, relax in the jacuzzi areas, work out at the fitness center, spend some time in the Zen areas, or challenge your group to a game of tennis or paddle. There are also restaurants right within the resort, including Punto Azul by the pool and Faro Azul near the beach club.

And when you’re ready to explore beyond the resort, Playa del Carmen is just a short drive away. You can easily mix peaceful mornings at Mareazul with afternoons or evenings on Quinta Avenida, dinner at a local restaurant, shopping, or exploring more of the Riviera Maya.

  We loved this condo. It was spotless and the linens and beds and furniture were very comfortable and clean and nice. The porch furniture was so nice and the views were amazing. Everyone was helpful and the food at both restaurants was truly delicious. We loved our stay.

  The apartment was very well kept, clean and useful. Made breakfast every morning and 1 dinner and counted on all the appliances, utensils and all tableware. A/C was also capable of keeping the apartment cool in the evening. Mareazul is an automatic, enjoyed very much returning to my stomping grounds.

  The quiet resort with pool, beach and restaurants on sight makes it easy for a multigenerational family with people on different schedules and coming from different time zones.
  
  It was great to have communal space but also enough room that we weren't on top of each other. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was a bonus. The place was very clean. There were enough beach towels (which we've found isn't always the case when places say they provide towels). There are black out curtains, fans in all rooms and the beds are very comfortable.
  
  The site says the pool has "jacuzzi sections"- these are round like jacuzzis and have jets, but the water isn't any warmer, which was a big disappointment.
  
  All of the staff we encountered were lovely. I didn't realize how much of an opportunity I'd have to use Spanish. I thought the Cancun area meant basically everyone was fluent in English. Not the case at all.
  
  The beach is large and quiet. Lots of room for kids to play. We were disappointed by how relatively cold it was though. Half the days we were there it was cloudy, super windy, and highs only in the high 70s. The break was way too strong for kids or grandparents to swim.
  
  We would have been happy to pay a little more to have some basics like dish and laundry detergent on arrival. There weren't basic pantry items (not even salt).
  
  The numbers provided by the property management company were a little unclear. One didn't respond and the other took a long time. However, they let us check out late which was really wonderful because our flight wasn't until the evening.

  Muy lindo el departamento, super amplio y cómodo para alojar a 10 personas. Muy lindo amoblado, con lindísima vista, un gran balcón para disfrutar el exterior.
  Tiene una alberca maravillosa.
  La playa es muy linda, con un buen servicio de playa.
  Lo único que tengo que remarcar para que la estancia realmente haya sido excelente es la falta de vajilla, en algunas cosas no llegábamos a cubrir la necesidad de las 10 personas alojadas.
  Pero sin duda es un lindísimo lugar para alojarse

  Our 6-member family stayed at Mareazul just outside Playa del Carmen for 4 nights in February. We picked the place because of a recommendation by a friend and were not disappointed. The place was very clean, calm and the apartment was very spacious as well as the complex being very safe. We enjoyed the beach and it was great to have a restaurant onsite, with the one closer to the beach having just opened.
  
  A few minor things that could make it even better: the modular sofa is pretty uncomfortable to sit in. It would be great to have shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms, as well as a few more essentials such as laundry detergent and kitchen cloths.
